About
Expertise with proven impact — the complete cycle, from complex math to a deployed container. More than three years of experience in research and building machine learning models.
Every model has a point where reality stops matching the assumptions. I don't trust its output until I've found that point — and the interesting part isn't building the model, it's noticing where it's been quietly wrong, proving why, and finding how to fix it. (get to know me better)

Research
Atmospheric and Oceanic Physics · Springer · Oct 2025
Large-scale statistical analysis of real-world ocean wave measurements from pressure sensors off Sakhalin Island. Derives empirical frequency spectra and wave height distributions, validating theoretical models against extensive field data. Identifies conditions contributing to elevated probability of extreme wave events dangerous to marine infrastructure.
Springer Proceedings in Earth and Environmental Sciences · Nov 2023
Numerical simulation study of the statistical behaviour in finite ensembles of irregular ocean waves. Derives probability distribution functions showing how finite-size effects deviate from classical infinite-ensemble theory, providing improved models for estimating rogue wave occurrence probability in real sea conditions.
Projects
Wave Preprocessing Pipeline
End-to-end GUI application for raw ocean pressure-sensor data. Automated ingestion, quality control, feature extraction and anomaly detection — reduced workflow from 10 h to 15 min.
Sakhalin Sensor Pipelines
Data pipelines supporting the Springer publication on wave frequency spectra off Sakhalin Island. Statistical modelling of extreme events from long-term field measurements.
Spectral Width Study
Numerical simulation and probabilistic analysis of random wave fields with wide Fourier spectra. Research codebase underpinning the finite ensemble probability distributions paper.
